Double Stroller

Well, we went ahead and bought a double stroller. It is probably one of the best things I've ever bought! It is dreamfully easy to maneuver (easier than my single stroller), and the girls love it! It's actually the only stroller that Caddie will sit in. We did have a lot of trouble fitting it into the car in the box, but now that it's put together, it goes in pretty easily.
We also just took a huge trip to Ikea. That store is completely amazing! I had never been there before, but Brendan said it was the best and they had good prices, and he was totally right. It is hard to just buy what's on the list, but we managed to do it (mostly because we knew we couldn't fit it in the car). Brendan is an amazing packer by the way... he fit 2 dressers, a computer desk with shelving, a kitchen cabinet and shelf set, a computer chair, and various other odds and ends in our tiny little Saturn with room to spare!

I'll have to post some pics of our new house soon, I'll make sure to take some next time we're there. Until next time...

Top 5 differences between having one child and two...

Before I had Laila, everyone told me how different it would be to have two kids instead of one. I thought they were being silly, but they were totally right. The top 5 differences are....
1. Poop - it's everywhere! Someone always is pooping, is about to poop, or just pooped.

2. Time - there's never enough time to do anything! I'll plan on going to the grocery store, and before I know it, it's eight o'clock and I'm too exhausted to do anything, and then I'll look in the microwave and find my coffee that's been sitting in there for 8 hours that I already heated up four times but never quite got around to drinking. The house is always a mess, too - even after I just cleaned it, and I don't get to do that very often.

3. Food - someone's always hungry and needs to be fed, including myself and Brendan.

4. The number of toys Caddie can play with while Laila is awake has dramatically decreased. Why does everything have to have such little pieces?

5. But, it's not all bad. There is definitely more love to go around. More snuggles, hugs, and kisses. That's probably the best part and makes everything worth it!
